WINGS—By far the strangest part of the flight home was, after they ran out of “CBS Eye on American” programming—reruns of ‘Two and a Half Men’ and Letterman’s ‘Stupid Human Tricks’—we got the purple VHS tape labelled “Extended Programming”. Featured were two episodes of NBC’s ‘Wings’ from 1990 and two ‘Cheers’ shows from the Diane Chambers era. Intermixed with CBS ads for CSI. Strange.
