WHO’S THAT GIRL?—Riki Lindhome is the star of this Domino’s commercial. She’s also appeared in Gilmore Girls, Million Dollar Baby, and Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

Riki got her start in acting on the infamous UUTV program Syracuse Live! No joke. I think she joined the year after I left, I’ll have to ask about it at the next alumni get-together.

DIRECTORS MAKE DEAL —Big news today, as the DGA has apparently averted a strike of their own by reacing a tentative aggreement with the AMPTP. Word is the same deal the DGA got is on the table for the Writer’s Guild. If they agree, only SAG would be left—their deal is up July 1.

—I’d known for a while that the “secret” code to arm US nuclear missles was revealed by former Secretary of Defense Robert McNamara to actually be ‘00000000’, however, I had no idea that in England, their bombs had no codes at all. Instead, using British nukes required simply an allen wrench and a bicycle key!
